When does game playing stop and why do people play games?
There’s nothing wrong with game playing, its healthy and affective.
Game playing is a part of life and those who say; Oh I don’t play games are fooling themselves.
Whether you like it or not, everyone plays games. Think about it, what did you do last time you persuaded your guy or gal to do something. Did you wait for the timing to be right? Did you ask him or her sweetly? Did you try a trade off? These are all part of the negotiation techniques, which fit into the area of game playing.
As we get to know our partners more intimately, we teach them through forms of communication how to act and react to us. This also is part of game playing.
The game playing never stops; it just takes on different forms as the relationship moves into different levels of communication and commitment. Play the game effectively and you can be extremely successful in developing rewarding relationships.
