Mummy’s Boy or Girl
Do you fee l like your partner is having a relationship with their mother? A strong influence as a mother interfering in your relationship can be extremely damaging.
If your boy or girlfriend cannot put you first before his or her mother and stop being influenced by her every suggestion, there is sure to be trouble between you.
Have a serious talk to your partner and tell them how you feel. If they resist, saying it’s not a problem and you feel strongly enough about it, you could suggest getting a second opinion from a qualified counsellor.
If this doesn’t work and you can’t see the situation changing, think seriously about whether or not you want to be in this relationship because chances are it will only get worse.
